Anyone install the Remote 2 on the left handlebar of a Tenere 700? On my bike if it’s to the right of the OEM controls (signals, high beam, horn, etc) the bottom toggle switch (zoom) and the top scroller are cramped by the OEM controller and the mirror stick, respectively. I’ve moved the mirror/clutch mount as far to the right as possible. I tried to move the OEM controller to put the Remote 2 on its left but it wouldn’t budge (loosened the two Phillips screws on the back). The Carpe Iter I had was a bit narrower and fit fine (but also didn’t have the zoom toggle). Thanks.

Obragado, Joäo! Very helpful. Couple of notes on the new tablet mount. I had the old one but wanted to upgrade to this controller so bought the metal mount. FYI the plastic at the bottom of the old one, where the power cable connects, was falling apart around the screws when I disconnected it. Probably old news to you. The ‘grip’ of the new mount scared me a bit. It’s so tight I was anxious it might crack the tablet! But all good. And I miss the folding stand at the back! Love your product and support.

Turns out the OEM light/signal control was glued shut by PO or factory/dealer. R2 now successfully mounted between grip and OEM control unit. Here’s my step-by-step installation.

You need to open the stock controller and remove a pin. This is actually briefly discussed and shown here:
