New 865X tablet doesn’t see TPS sensors. I’ve queried the search field for this issue but nothing came up. I’ve got a new 865X and I’ve been grappliing and struggling to figure out how to use it. It seems like there is a steep learning curve to make it work. I’m now at the TPS sensors. I can’t seem to get the tablet to see them. In the online video by another member, it appears as soon as you pull the tab from the battery, and install the sensor on the tire valve, and open the tablet it sees the tps and you can set it up. Not only do I not get the tps app to open up, I cannot find any tps app or anywhere on the tablet to pair the sensors to the tablet.

I replied via email yesterday: Yes, brand new out of the box. Followed directions to remove battery insulator, carefully screwed on valve stem snugly, etc. Could find no tps app to open, and online vid from user vid showed tps pairing popping up automatically, not for me though….

Sorry, new to this forum. I’ll try to bring up the widget but am now at home (bike with tps sensors installed 2000 miles away now and won’t see bike until late March on my next trip). If I can load the widget then I’ll be able to pair the sensors when I’m back with the bike in March. Thank you for your reply. Scotty (snotty54)

Hi again, the video on the page i linked you shows how to enable the widget on the home screen. If the widget is not selectable on the home screen setup, make sure you have updated the dmd software to the latest version. Good luck.

Possibly a dumb question, but: Are you using the TMPS sensors sold by THORK? If you are, there is no TMPS app, its a widget on the home screen. Go to home screen and edit it (cogwheel) you should be able to select the TMPS widget on either right or left panel. Then follow instructions found here: https://www.drivemodedashboard.com/support/dmd-tpms-kit/
