Same here seems it depends on regulation by Samsung. That’s the Reason why i have to skip the Beta Now i have to wait for a solution or go with the Active Tap 3 or with the T865 but 550 at much more than a used 2 ( which runs with the older DMD2) or a used Active 3

 

Odd i can install the D2D app, and run the app from the External SD card

I can instally Spotify & all downloaded music 6+ Gb  to the SD card and run it from there,

I can install copilot & maps on the SD card and run from there

Which suggests its not the tablet / OS  that is the problem, more the app?

With regards to the unit or units of that ilk,

 

In short, don’t bother, its a £10 nav in a £1 case –

It will have a cloned front end from whichever software they’ve reverse engineered,

There is no product support, and there claims are crap!

The specs are random stats bolted together  such as  “Wifi 5.0,  Automotive chip in inside”  5G  (it has no LTE function btw) ”

The unit i had had the software from a citroen installed,   you cant update it,  i certainly tried

In short  – its a Turkey!!!

Its definatly the Beta with regards to saving on the external SD card

I had the beta installed on my Honor9  and the save to SD card was also greyed out and inoperative.

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled the non beta version…

Save to SD card option not greyed out or inoperable,

I can do screen shots if that helps
