Just a thought, could it be replaced with long press?
Current location of the pencil is problematic since some widgets have their settings button on top-right corner.

Actually, can you tell me how are you using GPS logger with DMD2?
I installed it and tried to find a widget to add to DMD2 home screen but couldn’t find one…
