Hey gang! I am new here and I am about to pull the plug and purchase a DMD-T865/X. Still on the fence for which one. I notice that I see many riders using this unit for off road but I wanted to know how well does the DMD unit do with announced turn by turn directions. i am coming from a Garmin Zumo XT2 and I have been use to that system for announcing directions. I would also like to know how the DMD links up with a PacTalk Bold Edge. Thanks for any newbie feedback

Thank you for the response. If anyone out there is running a Cardo/Sena unit in combination with the DMD system please give me a shout.

Hi, I am using a Cardo PT Edge with T865 and they pair just like any other mobile phone / tablet. Not using the Audio for Navigation (more of a visual guy) but Spotify etc. work like you would expect it. Hope that helps. Cheers

Päivityksiä nyt kun laitteet ovat olleen kesän käytössä.
Olen ollut softaan todella tyytyväinen, Telineestä itsellä irtosi lukon ruuvit ja sitten pogopinnit alkoivat sekoilemaan.
Teline vaihdettiin takuusta uuteen ja samalla tuli versio jossa on sivulukko. Tämä oli itselle erittäin hyvä asia koska nyt saan helpommin käytettyä avainta.Tuossa telineen temppuillessa huomasin että USB C lataus ei tabletissa toiminut. onneksi sain ladattua sillä takapuolen M8 liittimellä.
Tabletti vaihdettiin takuusta (uusi tulossa juuri postissa).Eli periaatteessa kaikki osat on nyt kerran vaihdettu. Katsotaan miten uudet toimivat mutta ainakin uusi teline toimi hyvin.
Onko muilla miten kestäneet laitteet?

DMD2 3.00088 released:
– When a GPX Track and a GPX Route overlap the progress box gives priority to Route -> If you want to see the Track progress just use the GPX Manager to hide the Route
– Improvements to the Map Downloader
– When using the new Beta Web Planner the Route profile is store as extension in the GPX so that DMD2 will load the file with the same profile as default -> Can be changed by the user at any moment and it recalculates

Yes, if you navigate to a place on your map, a POI or route you will get turn by turn navigation. I have no idea about your second question, sorry. I don’t use coms on my units.
