I just wanted to say thank you to the developers. This software is really well thought through. I still have work to do for the controls I want to setup, but so far I have offline maps, obd2, and roll charts all work really well. The design and layout is just really well thought through. I did notice one bug where I had to completely reset my device. It only happens though if you load a lot of GPX files all at once. I’m sure the device ran out of memory but once it happens there is no way back outside of a full reset. This happened because I saw the feature to load the GPX files and hide them. So I thought why not load all of my files then just turn them visible when I want to use them. It wasn’t clear to me that adding them would consume resources. Also the “delete” of the GPX made me nervous, I wasn’t sure if it was deleting them from DMD2 or from the device. It does only delete from DMD2. So with that learning curve out of the way, I’m up and running. Thank you again, this is really an amazing software and I hope the ecosystem around it stays open. It is unfortunate that I had to buy a dongle for the T7 even though it came with a blue tooth dongle, but I understand trying to support every mfg would be a large effort.

I just purchased this device to use with DMD2 (Thank you BTW). It is working well so far the cost of the device is pretty reasonable and if you set it up as a dedicated device (not a lot of apps loaded) it performs very well with DMD2. I also created and shared a mount I designed to put this on the Yamaha T7 Tenere I case others are interested. It can be downloaded from printables https://www.printables.com/model/860720-yamaha-t7-tenere-umidigi-x20-mount/files
The screen size is just right for me on this device, plenty large enough but still fit behind the Tenere wind screen just barely after the case. I’ll post back if any issues arise after testing in summery heat, etc… So far so good though. It made it through the first really wet test ride without any issues.
