Any chance of map changing from day to night display automatically?

<p style=”text-align: left;”>A dotted red line has suddenly appeared, starting from my current position in non navigation mode. I have checked the settings and can’t see where I can turn this off. It has appeared since the 100 update.</p>

Had my first run out today using DMD2 with a Samsung Active2 which has given me a couple of questions. When I hit the locator button it doesn’t always show the correct position on the map and at one point the GPS lost the position altogether. And selecting 3D mode the locator icon is off screen until I hit the locator button to return to 2D mode which shows correct position on road. Sometimes the map disappears and I have to go to the download screen and pretend to download again or reboot the device.

I’ve also tried tethering to my Pixel7a which shows they’er both connected but on the DMD2 screen it shows offline. I only seem to get online when connected to my home WiFi. Am I doing something wrong?
