Hallo,
Ik overweeg om een T865X te kopen en vraag mij eigenlijk af hoe jullie telefoon en headset koppelen aan de T865X.
Is dat op dezelfde manier als op de XT2 beide verbonden met de XT2 of headset gekoppeld aan de telefoon en dan de telefoon gekoppeld aan de T856X.

Dag Wilfried,
Daar ben ik nog net niet. Ik heb een verkeerde mount besteld dus de T865x staat nog niet op mijn GS.

Hangt er een beetje vanaf waar je prio voor de headset ligt, denk ik,
Ik dacht mijn headset voorlopig aan mijn telefoon te houden. Op zich hoef ik geen GPS instructies te horen, maar ik luister wel naar mijn Spotify lijst en neem occasioneel calls op.
Ik heb geen simkaart in de T865x, heb altijd een hotspot op mijn iPhone en zo is de T865x online.

Als ik de Spotify echter zo kan beluisteren via mijn T865x en mijn calls kunnen ook doorrouten, dan zou het wel kunnen dat ik overschakel omdat het mss wel gemakkelijker te bedienen is. (Ik heb ook nog geen remote gekocht)

  Bedankt voor je reactie, je hebt de verkeerde mount besteld, had je de korte mount besteld of de lange die verkeerd was.

    Ik had deze besteld :
    
    DMD 12mm AMPS Bracket Long SE
    
    maar mijn BMW GS1200 Adv van 2011 heeft een 17mm bar aan het windscreen. Dus deze kan er niet rond.

Hello,
Ik ben net een T865x op mijn BMW GSA1200 van 2011 aan het installeren.
Toch wel challenging :
– de stekkers komen niet overeen dus een tussenstuk moeten bestellen.
– ik heb er ook de houder bijgekocht, maar het zij-slot is toch niet hetzelfde als het rear slot. Ik vraag me af of ik er we bijkan als mijn scherm er terug op staat.
Zoals Bart DM al aangaf…toch wel challenging voor een iphone/mac addict om met Andriod te werken.
Maar ik ga het 1 jaar een kans geven en als ik dan nog loop te vloeken dan weet ik dat ook.

In the next MRA update, MRA will also be recognized as an app to start navigation from within DMD.

I would like to share my setup: T865-X and DMD Remote 2 controller at a KTM 890 Adventure (2023).
I’m using parallel the Apps: DMD2, Locus Maps, Google Maps, OsmAnd and MyRouteApp. But unfortunatelly there is actally no interface in MyRouteApp for this controller. The workaround with best result is, to use “WunderLINQ”.

I used several decades TomTom and Garmin, but at the end, I noticed that I was never satisfied with. I discovered the DMD devices at a trade fair and was shockingly in love! Ever since I mounted the tablet – and especially the controller – on my handlebars, I’ve been wondering how I was able to ride with the other devices all these years. Only now can you talk about a navigation SOLUTION!

Nice setting. Maybe you can e-mail Corjan and ask him to add the DMD controller. (corjan@myrouteapp.com – lead developer).

      unfortunatelly no. I wrote to Corjan (MyRouteApp) – he answered, he will think about. But still no solution yet.

        Yes, Corjan, as the lead programmer, decides on such matters. It never hurts to send a reminder. We’ve had some very busy days at the motorcycle fair in Utrecht. Maybe we should just wait a little longer.
