Hey everyone. I went out for a ride on a test track just to try out the T865X on a local run. I am very impressed by the navigation. I am using the DMD app and could hear the turn by turn directions being played on the tablet. I purposefully went off course to see if the software would autoroute me back to my destination. Please note I am coming from the Garmin XT world. Is there a way to have the loaded track autoroute you back on the track if you stray off the track or did I just miss a setting? Thanks for any assistance.

Hey everyone,
I am finishing up my install of the 865X with the DMD remote 2. I get the blinking blue light on the unit on initial power up. I went into the menu to allow accessibility. I then go into the bluetooth menu to pair the DMD Remote 2. I don’t see anything listed as DMD Remote 2 as an available device. I have no issues running the remote in the wired mode but it would be nice to have the bluetooth as a backup if ever needed. Thanks for any help

I am new to the community. I have a 2020 KTM 790 Adventure R with cruise control and heated grips on the left hand side of the bike. I am interested in the DMD system with the remote control setup. I would love to see pics for anyone with this bike and those features with a DMD remote controller on their bike. Thanks again.

Hey gang! I am new here and I am about to pull the plug and purchase a DMD-T865/X. Still on the fence for which one. I notice that I see many riders using this unit for off road but I wanted to know how well does the DMD unit do with announced turn by turn directions. i am coming from a Garmin Zumo XT2 and I have been use to that system for announcing directions. I would also like to know how the DMD links up with a PacTalk Bold Edge. Thanks for any newbie feedback

Yes, if you navigate to a place on your map, a POI or route you will get turn by turn navigation. I have no idea about your second question, sorry. I don’t use coms on my units.

Hi, I am using a Cardo PT Edge with T865 and they pair just like any other mobile phone / tablet. Not using the Audio for Navigation (more of a visual guy) but Spotify etc. work like you would expect it. Hope that helps. Cheers
