When I used the DMD2 Roadbook for the first time during the Bosnia Rally I thought about a possible implementation of an adaptive distance multiplier.

Use case example:
When adjusting partial/total distance with the remote control on the handlebar repeatedly in the same direction (plus or minus) the distance multiplier could be programmed to learn from the corrections and adjust (increase/decrease) the distance correction factor. Similarly, the Tripmaster from RNS uses the “Auto calibrate” Function. This would be a beneficial improvement in my opinion.

There is a problem when editing total/partial distance field. It is not accepting the edited value.

I am preparing for a rally and found that the Distance Multiplier adjustment can’t be saved. The distance correction factor always reverts to “1” no matter what.
