    • Hello everyone,

      I use DMD2 on the T665 phone for various use cases.
      I mainly do weekend or holiday tours lasting several days.
      For many years I have prepared such tours on the PC and transferred them as a .gpx file to navigation devices before the trip.
      Unfortunately, this method is not flexible enough.
      Even a solution with a DMD website does not seem to be practical for on the go with this phone.
      What I miss most is the option of configuring different presets for tour sections, such as highway or gravel, in the same tour.

      I therefore suggest a flexible tour manager in DMD2.
      In the following I will construct the basic principle and some application examples.

      > Tour manager

      >> Tour 1
      >>> General Folder
      – Poi’s
      – waypoints
      – shapingpoints
      – tracks
      – routes

      >>> Day 1 #dateconfig
      >>>> Section 1 – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry, Motorway, .. link to general folder: – Poi’s, – waypoints, – shapingpoints, – tracks, – routes
      >>>> Section x – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry, Motorway, .. from general folder: – Poi’s , – waypoints, – shapingpoints, – tracks, – routes

      >>> Day x #dateconfig >>>> Section 1 – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry, Motorway, .. link to general folder: – Poi’s, – waypoints, – shapingpoints, – tracks, – routes
      >>>> Section x – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry, Motorway, .. from general folder: – Poi’s, – waypoints, – shapingpoints, – tracks, – routes

      >> Tour 2
      >>> General Folder (to link by Day)
      – poi “home” – poi “best coffee”
      – poi “best burger” – poi “hotel1”
      – poi “camping1” – poi “Gasstation1”
      – Track 1 “nice Gravelroad”
      – Route 1 “nice curvy Road”

      >>> Day 1 #Arrival #dateconfig
      >>>> Section 1 – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry no, Motorway yes
      – wpt 1 (start point, poi “home”)
      – wpt y (shaping point/-s)
      – wpt 2 (waypoint, poi “best coffee”)
      – wpt y (shaping point/-s)
      – wpt z (endpoint, poi “hotel1”)

      >>> Day 2 #Approach > nice Gravelroad > nice curvy Road > Departure #dateconfig
      >>>> Section 1 – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry no, Motorway no
      – wpt 1 (start point, “my position”) – wpt y (shaping point/-s)
      – wpt 2 (waypoint, poi “Gasstation1”) – wpt y (shaping point/-s)
      – wpt z (endpoint, startpoint Track 1)

      >>>> Section 2 – Section -Preset: unpaved roads, Ferry no, Motorway no
      – trk 1 (first trackpoint from imported Track1)
      – trk x (last trackpoint from imported Track1)

      >>>> Section 3 – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry no, Motorway no
      – rte 1 (first routepoint from imported Route1)
      – rte x (last routepoint from imported Route1)

      >>>> Section 4 – Section preset: Roadfun, Ferry no, Motorway no
      – wpt 1 (start point, “my position” or “last point”)
      – wpt y (shaping point/-s) – wpt 2 (waypoint, poi “best burger”)
      – wpt y (shaping point/-s) – wpt z (endpoint, poi “camping1”)

      >>> Day x >>>> Section 1
      >>>> Section x

    • Hi together,
      how can i find and copy my selfrecorded tracks or organise tracks with a filebrowser? With option or path i need for that?
      Thanks for answer

    • Hi together,

      last week i drove in Switzerland near Gotthard. I used DMD2 for primary Navigation.

      In the Preset “Road fun” the Navigation send me many times (on the high mountain passes, with lot of curves) beside the road to old foot or animal paths. I am shure, that this paths are not legal to drive. Also would it absolutly dangerous to drive like a alpine goat.

      I think there is a bug in the vector setting of the maps.

      (see also thread “ferrys for pedestrians”)

    • Hi together,

      few weeks ago we came back from Denmark to Germany. The Navigation was routing in the Bay of Kiel to an ferry only for pedestrians.

      I think this is an bug.
