I have a T-665 and about to wire into my bike’s 12v. I have a Hex Ez Can and I was powering my (now discarded) Zumo XT from one of the Ez Can’s 12v outputs which is only live when the ignition is on. So, green cable goes in this connection but do I need the red lead connected to a permanent live for a feature on the T-665 that I’m not aware of.

Any advice would be most welcome.
