Group Manager
Group manager is a functionality that allows you to create groups in the DMD website, almost like a Facebook user group.
If the group is set to private or hidden you will be able to use it in the DMD2 app group manager.
In your group you can add members, share files, write on the feed wall, add location and track and even share and view the location of everyone in the DMD2 app.
Website Setup
Follow these steps to setup everything you need on the DMD website side.
1. Create an Account
If you do not already have an account on our website you should start by creating one. Click here to go to the account creation page. After creating your account we recommend that you spend some time adding the profile information!
2. Remember Login
Remember your login information! The username and password will be required to login in the DMD2 app. If you forgot the username you can check in the address bar when you visit your profile page.
3. Create Group
Now its time to create your riding group! For the group to be available for location sharing in the DMD2 app it needs to be set to private or hidden otherwise it will not show in the DMD2 app. Click here to create your group.
4. Invite Friends
Now that you have your group, its time to invite your riding buddies! To do this you can use the you use the “Send Invites” function in the group page. Note that you can only invite users that you are friends with, search for users here.
DMD2 App Setup
Follow these steps to setup everything you need on the DMD2 app side.
1. Start Group Manager
Click the group manage button in DMD2 map view and login with the same account that you created earlier. Remember use the username and password and NOT an email address.
2. Login
Insert your details and tap on the login button. Make sure you are online before doing this! If the login fails do not attempt it more than 5 times or you will be blocked for 24h.
