Wiring advice please

I have a T-665 and about to wire into my bike’s 12v. I have a Hex Ez Can and I was powering my (now discarded) Zumo XT from one of the Ez Can’s 12v outputs which is only live when the ignition is on. So, green cable goes in this connection but do I need the red lead connected to a permanent live for a feature on the T-665 that I’m not aware of.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Andy, were you able to figure out how to connect this to the EZ-can? I followed the link in the response and I could not find the answer to your question. I am planning on purchasing one of the DMD devices and I like to be able to visualize the proper installation. Any advice is appreciated.

If you click on the DMD-T665 Support link above (under where it says ‘look here’) and scroll down it will show you the wiring. Works fine with an output on an ezCan.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I did scroll down, but there is no mention of ezCAN. Did you pair the green wire with the red wire and then connect it to a switched ezCAN circuit? Do you possibly have an image of your install? Thanks for your help, Andy.</p>
