Where does the DMD2 app store the downloaded maps…

Hey guys,

DMD2 newbie here, in some way DMD2 stores the download maps on the Tab’s memory, but i want to store them on the card I bought specially for this app. How does that work? Can i move them?

Unfortunately you cant because google completely changed the way apps access the SD Cards making it almost useless for navigation apps.

Hello,
I have also been busy with Dmd2 for 3 days and tried to save the maps on an external SD card.
As I now read, it doesn’t work, which is unfortunate.
Does it help to add the SD card to the internal memory?
I have an Oukitel Rt3 and you can expand the internal storage up to 1 TB.
