Hi
I love the products and thanks for the effort for bringing this to us but there are are some key features still missing.
1. Map view should be the gpx editor. There is no way to create or shape a route in the map view with waypoints and different offroad difficulty could be chosen between each waypoint.
Bad side of garmin is you need tread app to create the route and sync it to your device.
So while dmd2 app is so powerful and has a beautiful map view, we should create our routes in dmd2 directly with waypoints and shaping points, instead of creating the gpx on a web based gpx creator. Web based gpx option is not good as the dmd2 map view. And you need active internet to create a route with the web based gpx editor which is bad.
2. There should be a bluetooth gpx transfer option for offline situations.
Think of a situation that you have couple of offline gpx files in your phone and no sim card on your dmd tablet. There should be a easy syncing of the gpx to your tablet over bluetooth.
3. There is an option in windy app that you create a route and the app show you the weather forecast along your way based on distance and est. Avg. Travel speed. This could be implememted in the map view so you can see the rainy parts on your route. It will be more convenient than than the weather radar on another window. Because the weather radar show close proximity and current time, with the feature i suggest you can plan your route while checking the weather at the same time for the whole day.

I did a sketch for an Organizer here:

May we think about together.
