Hello,
I’m using DMD2 with a Remotek One controller on an Oukitell RT3 Pro Rugged tablet running Android 14.
In map view I have the zoom functions programmed to work with the plus/minus keys and pan/scroll is working using the arrow keys.
However, I would like to have a double-click or long-click (hold) key function for returning to current location in DMD2 ( I have that in Gaia and Google maps).
Does anyone know how to make that happen in map mode?
Thank you!
Jason
Try a long press on the zoom out key. That should exit Pan mode.
Remote controller settings in DMD2 are available in the Global Settings (cog wheel in the bottom menu) and the tap on “Setup Remote Controller”.
The first tab on that menu is where you setup the long press key.

What category do I use to set “return to current location” on the map under Global settings? My Global Settings menu has two choices, Bottom Menu Focus #66 and Cancel / Back / Close #156 after setting with minus key on remote (#11 on reset). Neither seem to have any effect in the map mode when using a long hold on the minus key to recenter on the current GPS location.
Also, how do you set the start view location and scale when opening the map mode? Mine is now opening zoomed out to the max over Africa?
