This is the current progress on the new OBD view.
It will include the final stable OBD code and new layout.

Have in consideration to replace modified Daytona 955i 2005 dash with this, oil warninglight will be bright led but all other info in dmd via obd… Any toughts having this as only dash?
Thanks

I merged with this topic since you seem to be asking about stuff for the next update (new version).
You can setup the Max RPM and the RPM where the red line starts. For now that is it.
We have removed any gear indicator because in motorcycles it is just not reliable (when we use calculated methods), hopefully we will be able to add OBD PIDs for Gear (for motorcycles that support this). As for having this as a dash it will depends on whatever your motorcycle outputs… altough im afraid a 2005 motorcycle will not output anything… I doubt that motorcycle is even fuel injection…

DMD does that by default, the OBDView will show you the DTC error light if there is any error, if you tap on it when its lit then you get a list of active errors.

I picked up this old post while looking in the forum for a way to show my current gear on the home screen. Were you able to add the gear indicator (i.e. the gear selected) as a widget? If so, were do I look for it? I have a K72 BMW (2009 F800 GS), and although I can see the indicator of the BMW screen, it is far easier to look at the DMD2 home screen, especially when standing.
If the gear indicator OBD code is not standard among the manufacturers, how about a customizable widget where the user can input the OBD code and a short display name?
Regards and thanks in advance
Dave
