Navigation with voice commands

Im testing the DMD2 app on a Samsung tab 2 but Im having issues with voice commands from the app.

I`m  unable to get audio turn by turn navigation.
The settings on the tab and in the app allow for sound, but still nothing.
Can someone explain to me, in what settings, circumstances or type of use can I expect an audio guidance when out riding.
Track, route GPX, point to point and so on

Hello

You need to enable it, in the map view there is a cog wheel button (top right corner), tap on it and search for NAVIGATION -> ENABLE VOICE INSTRUCTIONS.

You can also enable it for GPX tracks:
Tap the GPX button in the map view, then tap on SETTINGS in the bottom of the dialog, then go to “TURN INSTRUCTIONS”

This one was already OK, NAVIGATION -> ENABLE VOICE INSTRUCTIONS

GPX was not.

I also did some testing. T865X is a great device and DMD is really growing on me.

When using DMD navigation every tiny bend in the road is mentioned by a kind female voice. Is there a way to have voice only if there are significant turns, roundabouts, exits, etc.

Tap the GPX icon at the top of the map screen. Go to Turn Instructions. Try disabling Curves Angle Instructions. See if that does what you’re looking for.

Thanks for the reply. However, under GPX buttons in DMD map view I can find a lot of settings. But not the one you mention. I have DMD language in Dutch. Maybe something is lost in translation.
