Map legend / map scale indicator

The map scale indicator (important feature) should only be displayed in the measure (metric or imperial) which has been selected in the options dialog no need to display meter and feet at the same time – and is would consume only half of the space.

I second this request. On the T-665 in landscape orientation, the upper (metric) part of the scale bar is often covered by the waypoint boxes.

Also, the size of the scale bar and font size of the labels are too big. Does it scale according to some customizable map markers, labels or icons, i.e. can it be adjusted?
