Tanks for the tip – it was set up this way and I could not synchronize with my iPhone photos in relive. Have to check it in a test today again and will report back.

Hi Severian,

thanks a lot for the tip with using GPS logger. I have tried it since some weeks now and it is really a great and stable workaround as long as we have the trouble with DMD2 and Google not allowing it to run as a foreground service… 🙁

The current version of DMD2 now has the GPX recorder. Can anyone comment on the differences between using the built-in recorder vs the GPS logger app?
