Feature Suggestion – Map Widget with Zoom and “Line to Track” Functionality

It would be ideal if the map widget included a zoom function and supported a feature such as “Line to Track” or “Line to Waypoint”.

This would greatly enhance usability and orientation, especially during navigation-intensive rides.

Creating Straight Lines Between Waypoints in DMD (Support from Thork Racing)

If you want to connect waypoints using straight lines instead of routing along roads or tracks, follow these steps:

Load your GPX file with waypoints into the DMD app.
Open the GPX Manager and select your GPX file from the list.
On the right side, you’ll see the waypoints – click there and arrange them in your desired order.
Go back and select point “Convert.”
The app will prompt you to either convert the waypoints to a line (straight connections) or a route (following roads/trails).
In your case, choose “Lines” to display a straight path directly between waypoints — ideal for off-road or desert navigation like dune crossings.
