last week I recieved my tablet, mounting hardware and controller. I installed everything but I can hardly use the device, usually I get a blank map after the device boots from shutdown. And what ever I try, it will stay blank. I can see .gpx tracks, i can click on the map and it will navigate there. It feels like it just does not render the visual part of the map, but i can read were i want it to go to. It calculated to route to a .gpx track for instance.
I have to delete and then re download my country (the netherlands) for it to work.
I am very very disappointed about the device at the moment. At almost 1400 euros and it does not work without faffing around with settings and reloading maps.
What am i doing wrong?

On the white/blank map screen, continuously tap the – zoom out at the bottom right of the screen. You should eventually see the World map, then zoom back in while using your fingrs to scroll the screen to the area you want to zoom into.
I had this problem too until I ran Update to the latest version of DMD.

Are you using an SD Card?
Did you only download Netherlands?
You do not need to touch any setting, just download the map, done.
