Tagged: Routing bug
Hi together,
last week i drove in Switzerland near Gotthard. I used DMD2 for primary Navigation.
In the Preset “Road fun” the Navigation send me many times (on the high mountain passes, with lot of curves) beside the road to old foot or animal paths. I am shure, that this paths are not legal to drive. Also would it absolutly dangerous to drive like a alpine goat.
I think there is a bug in the vector setting of the maps.

You used the ROAD FUN and it sent you on unpaved roads?

Yes and to not legal roads to.
I used the offroad Mapview, while the Roadview is not readable for me or have any useful informations, like colorcode for Roadtypes.
Same situation here, with a long trip planned with “Road fun”. The problem was fom Longás, 50688, Zaragoza to Murillo de Gállego, 22808, Zaragoza. From this point on 42.487573, -0.921108 the road is unpaved. We lost 1h comming back to Navardún, 50686, Zaragoza. My girlfriend was very angry with me! Her first trip on a motorcycle trail was on her motorcycle and I guided her with DMD2 😉
Last sunday was the effect again:
– Routing over a Bridge only for pedestrians. Means: not legal to drive.
Map Setting:
– Offraod map view for better visibility (the Road View is not readable for me)
Navigation Setting:
– only Road fun, no Motorway, etc.
