Well, I am totally new at the dmd2. T865x.
used to Garmin Zumo xt.
can someone explain to me the following:i make a route in MyRoute-app, download the gpx. Put in in Google drive.
i go to the tablet and open in dmd the gpx. So far so good. Then I open the route.
i always start the starting-point a bit from my house. How do i start the route? Do I just ride to the starting point and then the route on the screen starts automatically? I am confused.thanks for the help.

Hi Arian,
I know from other apps, some navigation mistakes will occure, if you start after the first route point. Then those app will route you always back to the not reached route point. Therefore it would be good practice, to set the first waypoint in a little distance to your home.But with DMD2 app, I believe navigation will simply start if you have reached the first route point. I made the test:
- setting the first route point in a distance at my home -> navigation doesn’t start
- setting the first route pont directly at my home -> navigation starts immediately
If the first routing point isn’t close to your home, or you have received a foreign gpx – you can long tap on the first route point and can select in upcomming dialog: “navigate”. This will navigate you from your current location to this routepoint.
