It would be really nice if DMD2 could show some indication of (bad) weather on the maps while riding,
eg, it would be nice if the border or the map could be tinted in grey/dark/grey etc in the direction where bad weather is located. (if it is not possible to overlay a rain radar (or better: prediction) info on top of the map also.
Also useful would be audible announcement of impending/actual rain with indication of: direction (either cardinal directions (north, north-east, east, SE< south, west, etc) or (maybe as an option) giving the relative direction ( ahead, to the left etc). Yes I know that with curvy road those directions can change quickly, so: if navigating, it should maybe do that based on the general heading of the planned route over the next 10 minutes or so, and if not navigating over the general direction of the track of the last 10 minutes?
That is all planned and will come soon, including forecasts along gpx tracks and calculated routes, weather maps layers for rain, temperature and wind and much more.
